FACILITY DESIGN and ARCHITECTURE

1.      Schematic Design:

We will prepare a series of design vignettes representing the overall design of the structure.  The presentation drawings will consist of miscellaneous sketches, exterior renderings, floor plans, equipment plans, and a site plan.  These drawings will be used to communicate design style of the structure as well as building size, exterior materials, floor plan layouts, space relationships, site utilization, and parking.

§         Fitness Equipment Programming and Layout

Using the preliminary design documents and overall building layout – we will evaluate the facility demographics and estimated usage to determine the optimal design layout and equipment specifications.  We will outline the equipment specifics for the ‘fitness space’, provide an equipment plan and recommendations.

·          Equipment specifications and electrical requirements

·          Audio / Video Specifications

2.       Design Development:

This process involves the detailing the building structure and designing the building components.  We will begin a more detailed study of the floor plan, building structure, building systems, and site design.  In addition to architectural detailing, this process will include input regarding Structural Engineering as well as the Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems.  Each discipline will be involved in this effort to ensure efficiencies are maximized in the design the structure.

These review documents will include detailed floor plans, exterior elevations, roof plans, building sections, wall sections, and miscellaneous details as required.  Interior materials will also be studied during this phase of work. 

3.       Construction Documents:

The construction document package will included all of the necessary documentation required for proper construction of the structure.  These documents shall be used for securing final contract pricing, building permitting and building construction. 

EQUIPMENT PACKAGE and INSTALLATION

Once the optimal fitness equipment package and audio / video systems have been selected, Fitness Design, Inc. will provide pricing for all of the specified equipment.  The equipment price will include all delivery, installation, and coordination efforts for the facility.  In addition, we will select and install the accessories and furnishings for the facility.
